The delight and feeling of love is captured in a delicate mood in this painting. The gazes of the lovers are not into the eyes but all the way inside to their soul. The charming tree at the background is a symbolic representation of this lavishly graceful and refined emotion. Folds of woman’s dress is embellished with ‘I love you’ in 122 languages. The languages are written in alphabetic order starting from Afrikaans.
In several cases the language is not specified in the respective script. English script has been used, and the words are pronounced roughly as they are spelled.
